Shanghai Subway Lines and Map

Lines

Line 1, 32.358 km long, runs from Xinzhuang via Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun.

Fujin Rd - Youyi Rd - Baoyang Rd - Gongfu Xincun - Hulan Lu - Tonghe Xincun - Gongkang Lu - Pengpu Xincun - Wenshui Lu - Shanghai Circus World - Yanchang Lu - Zhongshan Bei Lu - Shanghai Railway Station - Hanzhong Lu - Xinzha Lu - People's Square - Huangpi Nan Lu - Shanxi Nan Lu - Changshu Lu - Hengshan Lu - Xujiahui - Shanghai Indoor Stadium - Caobao Lu - South Railway Station - Jinjiang Park - Lianhua Lu - Waihuan Lu - Xin Zhuang

Line 2, 25.4 km long, runs from Songhong Road to Zhangjiang.

Songhong Rd.-Beixinjing-Weining Rd.-Loushanguan Rd.-Zhongshan Park - Jiangsu Lu - Jing'an Temple - Shimen 1 Lu - People's Square - Henan Zhong Lu - Lujiazui - Dongchang Lu - Dongfang Lu - Shanghai Science and Technology Museum - Century Park - Longyang Lu - Zhangjiang

Line 3, 40.3 km long, runs from North Jiangyang Road to Shanghai South Railway Station.

North Jiangyang Rd. - Tieli Rd. - Youyi Rd. - Baoyang Rd. - Shuichan Rd. - Wusong Town-Zhanghuabang-Songfa Rd.-Changjiang Rd.(S.)-Yin Gao Rd. - Jiangwan Zhen - Wenshui Dong Lu - Chifeng Lu - Hongkou Football Stadium - Dongbaoxing Lu - Baoshan Lu - Shanghai Railway Station - Zhongtan Lu - Zhenping Lu - Caoyang Lu - Jinshajiang Lu - Zhongshan Park - Yan'an Xi Lu - Hongqiao Lu - Yishan Lu - Caoxi Lu - Longcao Lu - Shilong Lu - South Railway Station

Line 4, 27 km long, overlaps with Line 3 on about half of its run. The non-overlapping Line 4 section opened in January 2006, and when the remaining section opens in in late 2007, it will form a complete circular line.

Shanghai Railway Station - Zhongtan Lu - Zhenping Lu - Caoyang Lu - Jinshajiang Lu - Zhongshan Park - Yan'an Xi Lu - Hongqiao Lu - Yishan Lu - Shanghai Indoor Stadium - Shanghai Stadium - Dong'an Lu - Damuqiao Lu - Luban Lu - Xizang Nan Lu - Nanpu Bridge - Tangqiao - Lancun Lu - Pudian Lu - Dongfang Lu - Pudong Avenue - Yangshupu Lu - Dalian Lu - Lingpin Lu - Hailun Lu - Baoshan Lu

Line 5, 17.2 km long, runs from Xinzhuang to the Minhang Development Zone.

Xin Zhuang - Chunshen Lu - Yindu Lu - Zhuanqiao - Beiqiao - Jianchuan Lu - Dongchuang Lu - Jinping Lu - Huaning Lu - Wenjing Lu - Minhang Development Zone.

 

Interchange

interchange stations

The following are interchange stations:

  • Xinzhuang between Line 1 and Line 5
  • Shanghai South Railway Station between Line 1 and Line 3
  • Shanghai Indoor Stadium between Line 1 and Line 4
  • People's Square between Line 1 and Line 2
  • Zhongshan Park between Line 2, Line 3 and Line 4
  • Hongqiao Road, Yan'an Road (West), Jinshajiang Road, Zhenping Road, Zhongtan Road, Shanghai Railway Station and Baoshan Road are shared between Line 3 and Line 4
  • Shiji Avenue (formerly Dongfang Road) between Line 2 and Line 4

Though Yishan Road of Line 3 and Line 4 share a name, they are not one stop and interchanging is not yet possible.

To transfer between Shanghai Railway Station Line 1 station and Line 3/4 station requires exiting and re-entering the pay area.
